Transfer applicants may apply for admission for the fall and spring semesters. We expect you to have obtained sufficient academic preparation for the Bryantcurriculum through accredited secondary school and college coursework. Let us know how we can support your exciting transition to 91AV!
You can start your application using the Common Application, which requires creating a login and password, allowing you to save and add your application as needed before submitting it to 91AV.
While our listed application deadlines are preferred, we will review transfer applications on a rolling basis:

After applying to 91AV, you’ll receive access to the Admission Portal to check your application status.
We also have plenty of resources to help you along your application journey. Transfer applicants can schedule a virtual meeting with a counselor to discuss the admission process and credit transfers.
The Rhode Island Guarantee is a transfer partnership between the Community College of Rhode Island and participating four-year colleges and universities. Eligible Community College of Rhode Island graduates can seamlessly transfer to BryantUniversity — admission is guaranteed!
We partner with several colleges to make the transfer experience smooth for their students. The Office of Transfer Admission will work with each student on admission to the university and credit transfer. We’re proud to collaborate with several colleges to offer articulation agreements. That means these schools have courses that are so similar in content to certain Bryantclasses, you’ll get transfer credit instead of having to retake them. In addition to transfer equivalencies, we also partner with many other two-year colleges to help their students transfer to BryantUniversity. Below is a list of, but not limited to, schools that students have applied from, been admitted to, and enrolled at 91AV. Please contact the Office of Transfer Admission at (401) 232-6100 or (800) 622-7001 for more information on transfer opportunities and credit equivalencies.
Reverse transfer enables current or former Community College of Rhode Island students to apply credits they earn at BryantUniversity towards a degree at CCRI. Having an associate’s degree or certificate can mean better job opportunities, even while you work toward a bachelor’s degree. Students will consent to Bryantsharing their academic information (transcripts, etc.) with CCRI. The purpose of this is to keep CCRI informed of your transfer progress and make the reverse transfer a possibility.
Reverse transfer qualifications:
Upon acceptance, you’ll receive a credit evaluation indicating which classes have transferred, along with a curriculum summary identifying the courses required for a bachelor’s degree at 91AV.
You may transfer:
Merit scholarships, ranging from $12,000 to $25,000, are available for outstanding transfer students for the fall and spring semesters. They are based on the application for admission and are renewable.
Transfer students are also eligible for need-based financial aid. Please submit the (FAFSA).
The preferred filing date is the same as the admission application.
Don’t assume you are ineligible for financial aid! Because rules, regulations, and eligibility requirements change yearly, you should at least apply. You may find it is well worth your time.
