Prepare for a career in the environmental or biological sciences with a minor in Chemistry.
Support your major in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences Department by pursuing a minor in Chemistry. In this program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of chemical composition and the basic properties of matter, while also gaining a deeper understanding of diverse topics such as chemical biology, the synthesis of new forms of matter, the chemical phenomena that occur in humans, and the chemical interactions that make up the biosphere. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with industry tools and equipment in 91AV’s state-of-the-art laboratories.
This minor is recommended for students who are looking to pursue careers in health professions, scientific research, pharmaceuticals, and environmental sciences.
