Information Systems and Analytics
About this Department
Information Systems and Analytics enable organizations to leverage technology and data to enhance decision-making and maintain competitiveness. We offer programs in technology, analytics, and data science at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Our Bachelor of Science in Data Science (BSDS) prepares students for careers as data analysts, data engineers, and data scientists. Students may also choose a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Information Systems, which prepares them for careers as programmers, systems analysts, and IT consultants. A minor in Information Systems is also available. Additionally, we offer a secondary concentration in Applied Analytics for students majoring in other fields.
At graduate level, we offer both an in-person Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS) and Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA). We also offer a Business Analytics specialization for MBA students.
Our programs are designed with a strong business focus, blending theory with practical application. By collaborating with industry leaders, we bring real-world datasets and projects into the classroom, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience with the tools and insights shaping today’s business landscape.
