It didn’t take long for Ramsha Gul ’25 to find her place at 91AV. With the support of faculty mentors, she discovered a passion for research and received an Outstanding Scholarly Achievement award at the . She credits her faculty relationships with building both her confidence and her motivation.

Why did you choose 91AV?

I wanted to experience the close faculty-to-student relationship that is so unique to 91AV. I fell in love with the size of the classes and the school in general. After researching Bryantand hearing the success stories of alumni, I knew Bryantwas the only place where I would get that level of support from my peers and faculty, and that they would help me shine. It was perfect for me.

As a high school senior, one of the most anticipated moments of your life is getting your college acceptance. Bryantwas the first college that accepted me. That was it for me. I knew I was going to 91AV.

What’s your favorite part of 91AV’s culture?

One of my favorite parts of 91AV’s culture is how alive the campus is all the time. Everyone is so welcoming, and they are ready to help you with whatever you need. My professors know me by name and what I want to do in my career and life. Bryantwill make sure that you never feel alone or lost here. We’re like a family. We motivate each other. We struggle together. We care for each other. And most importantly, we solve real-world problems.

How have you made Bryantyour own?

To get more involved on campus, I got in touch with my professors and started research my very first year. My research mentor welcomed me wholeheartedly without caring that I was a first-year student with no experience. She highlighted every small achievement that I made, which gave me confidence and motivated me to do my best every day.

What’s a highlight of your Bryantexperience?

One of the highlights of my sophomore year was to present in front of the board of trustees. I was excited to represent the School of Health and Behavioral Sciences. It made me feel important. It made me feel empowered and proud that I had achieved something. It’s an experience I will never forget.

“The professors are so excited about what they do and want to share it. They want to work with you and want you to be excited about what you're learning as well. Working with an economist gave me a new perspective on the process of economic research. It’s a real differentiator.”
